Wild Life Conservation.
Both adults and youth are invited to join a presentation and demonstration by the CRRA, a local resident and SANParks, scheduled for 23 December 2025, from 10:00 to 12:00 at the Community Hall. Presentations will cover the handling of snares, wild animal conservation, and the use of dogs in nature conservation activities
Bring and Braai
Join us for a Bring and Braai together with the Cannon Rocks Social Club on Friday 14 or Saturday 15 November 2025 (date to be confirmed) at 📍 the parking area next to the cannons. Enjoy live music by a talented local performer!
Bring your own meat, drinks, and good vibes — let’s make it a night to remember!
Fishing Licenses
Attention Anglers and Visitors. Please note that the Post Office agency at the Caravan Park in Cannon Rocks has closed, which means fishing licenses are no longer available locally. To avoid any inconvenience, make sure you get your fishing licenses before coming to Cannon Rocks.
Fishing Licenses can easily be obtained from the Alexandria or Port Alfred Post Office, or online at https://www.fishing.dffe.gov.za/ords/r/epermit/mlep/home?session=10223145718425. Enjoy fishing and thank you for helping keep it legal and sustainable.
Opening of Play Park
All children are invited to the official opening of the Play Park following its renovations on Saturday, 13 December 2025. There might even be a special surprise waiting just for you! Parents are kindly requested to accompany younger children during their visit to the Play Park.
