Cannon Rocks is situated about 130 km North of Port Elizabeth on the East Coast of South Africa.

It gets its name from two Cannons retrieved from portuguese wrecks off the coast. The beaches (north of the famed woody cape) have been riddled with wrecks over the centuries.

The woody cape area now falls under the Addo National Park and has one of the largest shifting sea sand dune fields in the world

Cannon Rocks is a renowned Kiteboarding and fishing destination. It also offers a nature trail, a camping resort, a beach swimming area and some friendly locals.

Vast beaches and a quiet village make this a great destination for people wanting to get away from it all.
