[1] Section 7 makes it illegal to destroy indigenous trees in a natural forest without a permit granted by DFFE.  This does include areas of natural forest within towns like Cannon Rocks.

[2] Section 15  makes it illegal to cut, disturb, damage or remove any protected tree (or part thereof) without a permit granted by DFFE.  Both types of Milkwoods are protected trees.
